“Hearty, good flavor, but...” ...this dish is heavy on the mashed potatoes and light on the turkey gravy. It is plenty for two people but the ratio of potatoes to gravy means you get lots of potato with barely enough gravy. As is common with dehydrated meals the veggies and meat were still crunchy/chewy after soaking for a full 30 minutes at 6,000 ft. elevation. Be advised this is a two container meal. My advice would be, to prepare it opposite of the directions. Bring water to boil in a pot, (1.5 cups instead of 1 cup) and dump in the gravy so it can simmer. Then when it's ready make the mashed potatoes in the pouch, the water was fine as recommended, and serve in bowls. I would get this again to ad variety on a long trip, but it is not on my top ten list. -Clint - Avid back packer, eats a lot of dehydrated food, Wrightwood, CA

“Hearty, delicious, one of the best meals we have had” With brown rice, bulgur, sunflower seeds, wild rice, and almonds this really fills you with hearty grains. Re-Hydration was excellent and it's seasoned enough to actually have flavor. This is one of our two favorite meals. Check out Backpackers Pantry Santa Fe Style Rice with Chicken for the other one. It's also actually enough food for two people. -Clint, Wrightwood, CA

“Turkey Tetrazzini” I was unsure what to expect from this meal at first but being a Mountain House meal I decided to give it a try and was not dissapointed. It was full of flavor and texture. I would have to say that this meal is one of my favorites and is a must have on any trip. -Jason, California “Turkey Tetrazzini” This was our favorite meal on the 200 mile john muir trail.
