I have used this stove for 38 years and it's still going strong, however I now have a Jetboil and they each have there use, love them both.

I have used mine off and on for the last 32 years and have never had a problem. You have great flame control from simmer to wide open. The only issue that I have is that it is loud.

This is the stove used in Antarctica, and has been copied by most countries with any manufacturing capability. You can reasonably expect 20 years of use before any maintenance is needed and then only o rings will need replacing. 100 y/o stoves are common.
